In addition to the specific situations discussed elsewhere in this policy, we disclose information in the following situations:

  1. Affiliates and Acquisitions. We may disclose information to our corporate affiliates (e.g., parent company, sister companies, subsidiaries, joint ventures, or other companies under common control).   1. Public. Some of our Sites may provide the opportunity to post comments, or reviews, in a public forum.  If you decide to submit information on these pages, that information may be publicly available.
  2. Service Providers. We may disclose your information to service providers. Among other things service providers may help us to administer our Sites and provide technical support.

You may, however, request information about how long we keep a specific type of information, or request that we delete your personal information by contacting us at the address described below.  If required by law, we will grant a request to delete information, but you should note that in many situations we must keep your personal information to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, or for another one of our business purposes.
  4. Prohibit the Sale or Sharing of Your Personal Information. We may sell or share (in this context, “share” means use of your personal information for cross-contextual behavioral advertising) your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. The personal information subject to such use is limited to your online identifiers and inferences derived about your preferences through your interactions with the website.   8. Promotional Emails. You may choose to provide us with your email address for the purpose of allowing us to send free newsletters and other promotional materials to you. You can stop receiving promotional emails by following the unsubscribe instructions in e-mails that you receive.  If you decide not to receive promotional emails, we may still send you service related communications.

If you designate an authorized agent to submit requests to exercise certain privacy rights on your behalf, we will require verification that you provided the authorized agent permission to make a request on your behalf.

Our verification process may also include a request for additional information to confirm your identity or your authorized agent’s identity (such as your name, email address and date of birth) or to obtain proof that you have given your authorized agent permission to act on your behalf. If our verification process is successful, we will respond to your request within the time and in the manner required by applicable law. If we cannot validate the identity of you and/or your authorized agent or obtain proof that you have given your authorized agent permission to act on your behalf, we will attempt to contact you to inform you.


How We Protect Personal Information

No method of transmission over the Internet, or method of electronic storage, is fully secure.   • Transmission Of Information To Other Countries. As a multi-national company we transmit information between and among our affiliates. When we have no ongoing business purpose to process your personal information, we will either delete or anonymize it or, if this is not possible (for example, because your personal information has been stored in backup archives), then we will securely store your personal information and isolate it from any further processing until deletion is possible.
  • Children. Our services are not directed toward children under the age of thirteen, and we do not knowingly collect the personal information of children under the age of thirteen. If a child provided this website with personal information, we ask that a parent or guardian send us a written request to the address listed below and we will promptly delete the child’s personal information from our records.
  • Changes To This Privacy Policy. We may change our privacy policy and practices over time.  To the extent that our policy changes in a material way, the policy that was in place at the time that you submitted personal information to us will generally govern that information unless we receive your consent to the new privacy policy.  Your use of any Site following our notice to you of any material changes to the previous privacy policy shall be deemed your acceptance of the new privacy policy.
