Lung cancer

Real-world EGFR testing and adjuvant treatment patterns among patients with resected early-stage non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) in the United States

Summary

Following the survival benefits demonstrated in the ADAURA trial, adjuvant osimertinib, with or without prior adjuvant chemotherapy, has been established as the standard of care for patients with resected EGFR-mutated (EGFRm) NSCLC. However, real-world data on details of EGFR testing and adjuvant treatment patterns in this population remain limited. This study aimed to: (1) assess EGFR testing patterns among patients with resected NSCLC, and (2) characterize adjuvant treatment patterns and patient characteristics among individuals with resected EGFRm NSCLC.
