Experienced leader in AI, cloud and enterprise technologies will help accelerate the pace of innovation for oncology research and patient care
Boston, MA – ConcertAI, the leader for integrated Real-World Evidence (RWE) and AI solutions for life sciences and healthcare industries, announced today that Jon Richter has joined the company as Senior Vice President of eurekaHealth AI Technologies and Products. Jon brings more than 20 years of experience designing and building enterprise software products and state-of-the-art AI and analytics technologies for outcomes-focused solutions in life sciences and healthcare.
ConcertAI’s unique eurekaHealth family of AI enabled applications – launched in January at the J.P. Morgan Healthcare Conference – is the industry’s first for integrated Real-World Data (RWD) and clinically validated AI technologies. A cloud-deployed, SaaS platform with a microservices-based architecture, eurekaHealth optimizes performance for rapid insights, decisions, and AI-enabled operations across enterprise workflows, and works with the company’s own datasets and integrates customers’ first and third-party data.
“Jon’s deep experience in AI-enabled enterprise technologies for life science companies, healthcare providers and healthcare payers will accelerate ConcertAI’s ability to innovate and lead around needed solutions,” said Jeff Elton, PhD and CEO of ConcertAI. “Over the course of the last 18 months, eurekaHealth has been successfully deployed across several customers and is delivering new value and insights at the intersection of RWE, AI capabilities, and enterprise-grade SaaS. Under Jon’s leadership, we will be bringing even more innovative and high-value AI solutions forward.”
Prior to ConcertAI, Jon served as Vice President of Product at CognitiveScale, where he led the development of the company’s Cortex enterprise AI software that is used by healthcare, financial services, and digital commerce industries to deploy high-value, pragmatic AI solutions. Jon also served as one of the original product leaders for IBM Watson’s AI software business division, where he established the IBM Watson Discovery Advisor for research intensive businesses, and an AI system that optimizes the clinical trial matching process for cancer centers. Jon holds an MBA and MS in Structural Engineering from the University of Texas at Austin and a BS in Civil Engineering from Michigan State University.
“My career has been dedicated to applying AI to outcomes-focused solutions. Concerto’s eurekaHealth has become the industry leader for AI-powered Real-world Evidence solutions applied to clinical research, regulatory submissions, market access, and patient-solutions” said Jon Richter. “I look forward to partnering with our life sciences and healthcare customers to advance needed medical innovations and insights to patients.”
