Role Summary

The Senior Data Analyst will work leverage ConcertAI data and other patient-level data sets, including EMR, claims, labs, and other data, as well as ConcertAI platforms and accelerators, to execute high-impact analytics solutions and analysis for our pharmaceutical clients, addressing specific client issues with a focus on commercial side, and communicate the impact of these insights back to our clients.

 

Responsibilities

  • Execute projects using statistical and data mining techniques on large data sets to identify trends, outcomes and other relevant information, and oversee the quality of deliverables.
  • Develops analytic solutions using ConcertAI tools and platform to build custom analytics deliverables to client as needed.
  • Collaborate with clients to effectively communicate analysis findings, through delivery of presentations, and interactions with clients, and be able to communicate the story of what the analytics describes.
  • Lead development of consulting accelerators that create scale

 

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in data science, statistics, mathematics, or in a related discipline
  • 3 years’ experience either in commercial life sciences (e.g. market access, commercial analytics), or prior experience in management consulting for life sciences
  • Experience analyzing pharmaceutical and medical claims data (e.g. IQVIA, Symphony, or other syndicated data providers). Experience with EMR data highly desirable.
  • Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, SPSS to manipulate and analyze data. Experience with data visualization tools (e.g. Qlik, PowerBI, Tableau) desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to ‘translate’ between the data and the business, via layman’s terminology of complex analytical methods
  • A strong interest in analyzing and interpreting structured and unstructured data, drawing conclusions and building strategic insights for the client based on quantitative and qualitative research.
