Role Summary

ConcertAI is looking for a talented Clinical Informaticist to help build and inform our data infrastructure. Our data largely falls in the domain of medical informatics, but applications from bioinformaticians are welcome as well. You will be responsible for ensuring that the meaning of our data is preserved and understood throughout the ConcertAI system, from transmission from our sources to when it shows up our Eureka applications or in one of our data scientist’s analyses. You will help suggest ways to improve data quality, data modeling, and data usability. You will guide our data curators, data engineers and data scientists on what our data means and how it fits into our system, and be a central figure leading knowledge management and the ontological representation of the concepts in our data. You should have clinical experience, ideally in oncology, or extensive knowledge of electronic medical record data. You should be technically capable, able to work in a database or in code.

Our ideal candidate could explain what non small cell lung cancer is, what molecular markers are important in this cancer, how they are tested, how those markers might appear in data, how to express the actionable variants in HGVS, what drugs might be used to treat those markers and finally, how to query and find that cancer, the markers and the drugs in a database.

This role reports to our Senior Director of Clinical Informatics. The person must be located in the United States with possible travel to a corporate office periodically.
