Role Summary

A Senior Systems Engineer responsible for developing, maintaining, and supporting the highly available infrastructure that supports the needs of our global organization.  As a Senior systems engineer, you will be part of a team of engineers with all experience levels who work together to build and grow technical and leadership skills while creating, deploying, and supporting production infrastructure.  Senior System Engineers may be involved in upgrades and application support, as well as root cause analysis of security incidents and service interruptions.


The ideal candidate can make technical decisions and provide advice to other engineers, within the boundaries of their role, and follow policy and change management guidelines. Strong technical project management skills enable this person to lead calls, coordinate execution of tasks with appropriate parties, and manage follow up communication. They track progress and drive execution.


They should be innovative and have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. One would be managing complex, distributed systems and will need to be skilled to diagnose and resolve complex problems. Attention to detail is necessary. This candidate must also strive to solve problems at their root.


Priorities shift quickly in this fast-paced IT operational environment. You must be flexible and adapt well to a wide range of priorities, tasks, and technologies.


The location of the position is flexible within the United States, with the ability to work remotely from home or from one of our offices in Fremont, CA, Acton, MA (preferred location) or Durham NC.
