SUMMARY:

We are currently seeking an Accounts Payable specialist to join our growing team. You will be responsible for managing accounts payable using NetSuite and other programs. A strong work ethic, attention to detail and demonstrated knowledge of technical and operation accounting are a must.

Responsibilities (Include but are not limited to the following):

  • Handle accounts payable for separate entities and vendors.
  • Code invoices to ensure proper entry into financials system.
  • Maintain Purchase order log and reconciles invoices to purchase orders for price.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with new and existing vendors and company employees
  • Receive, research, and resolve variety of routine internal and external inquiries concerning account status, including communicating the resolution of discrepancies to appropriate persons
  • Process due invoices for payments and ensure bills are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures.
  • Reconcile assigned balance sheet accounts by identifying errors in posting or omissions by applying appropriate accounting standards.
  • Assist with timely monthly, quarterly, half-year, and year-end financial close, monthly status reports and accruals
  • Perform various ad hoc projects including researching, analyzing, and summarizing data/analysis as assigned
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support accounting department

Qualifications:

· Bachelor’s degree (B.S or B.A) in Accounting

· 2 - 3 years accounts payable REQUIRED within a company.

· Experience with Microsoft excel

· Strict attention to detail, highly organized and efficient

· Able to work independently and in team settings
