Role Summary
This position reports to the Chief Revenue Officer, with responsibility for defining, implementing, and achieving the go-to-market activities for ConcertAI’s Translational & Multi-Modal RWE Solutions. In this capacity, the VP of TMM Real World Evidence (RWE) Solutions will work with the sales and customer success organization in assurance of realizing both Solution booking performance and inform product-specific improvements. This individual will have significant interactions with ConcertAI Strategic alliance stakeholders, e.g. Diagnostic and Digital Pathology Enterprises and with all key Pharma RWD existing customers and prospects (current and prospective) and will support ConcertAI sales leaders i.e. sales executives. This leader will also interact extensively with ConcertAI RWD Product Management, RWD Scientists (PIs) and with Computational Biologists from ConcertAI RWE Alliances.
Responsibilities
- Embody and generate the compelling events during the sale process to convert client interest into transactions
- Own client interaction once Account Executives and pre-sales have introduced a client to ConcertAI and generated strong client’s interest and sales momentum
- Deliver presentations that wow the customers
- Participate in content generation for marketing and sales e.g. webinar
- Serve as a product advocate ConcertAI capabilities in client prospecting activities and at congresses.
- Deliver internal training and sales enablement for Sales Account Executive and BD support staff.
- Participate in sales and delivery efforts of data, supporting client usage of data products, and synthesizing feedback for development teams.
- Feed the creation or refinement of product characteristics with RWD Management team through customers interactions:
- Obtain customer requirements by working closely with the sales and scientific teams, and direct client engagement.
- Summarize feedback from client users to inform product modifications.
- Coordinate with RWE epidemiology group to establish benchmarks for sample size for each product as needed to optimize analytic value for end users and pricing decisions.
- Hire, onboard and manage junior solution consultants as the business grows
Requirements
- PhD required from academically relevant setting or Master Science degree coupled with research-based experience in the field of genomics
- 10 years or at least 5 work years of experience from a related and relevant setting e.g. translational sciences, genomic laboratory or part of a multi-omic RWE enterprise
- Strong experience with protein-based RWE, DNAseq, RNAseq, Whole Exome sequencing and Digital Pathology data, close familiarity with bioinformatics
- Strong business development background with a demonstrated ability to implement and achieve booking goals hence financial performance
- Strong sense of duty and urgency to align deep expertise and transforming that in solutioning for clients together with Sales Account Executives
- Expertise in usage of electronic medical data and molecular data to inform translational science activities, inform early clinical development strategies to achieve clinical proof of concept
- Familiarity with EMR, claims usage for RWD as well radiographic analysis (e.g. from PET, CT, PSMA) would provide an additional advantage
- Demonstrated success in representing RWD solutions to life sciences industry.
- Scientific or clinical background in oncology essential or alternatively significant exposure to Oncology through non-academic consulting or technology enterprise
- Very strong written and oral communication skills.
