PROJECT PLANNING

Concert Architectural Interiors account manager works with the client to accurately determine products and service solutions that best meet the project requirements.

PROGRAMMING, INVENTORY, SPACE PLANNING AND BUDGETS

Once the project has been determined, the CAI project manager or sales representative begins the programming stage. During this period, CAI teams with the architectural and design firm you selected to ensure you receive the project you expect. In the programming stage we will:

Interview departments and personnel involved in the project.

Examine the method of hard copy communication to identify workflow patterns and how it effects the furniture layout.

Survey workspace needs such as size needed for their function, communication cabling, electrical, storage and ergonomics.

CAI will inventory the existing product, create a database for the client, recommend what existing products can be retained for the project and what products may need to be released.

After the initial survey, space planning begins. CAI utilizes the most current ACAD programs to create the space plan and presents the plan in a 2D and 3D format. Workspace typicals begin to develop at this point.

Initial space plans are presented and discussed with the client, and any needed changes are completed for a second meeting.

Once the basic plan is accepted, CAI formulates the furniture budget by determining what furniture will be retained and purchased. The budget is submitted to the client for review.

SPECIFICATIONS

An important aspect of any project is the specification stage. CAI utilizes software products designed to make certain all components are specified and made ready for order entry. The specifications are reviewed with the client to ensure that what is specified is what the client needs.
